The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a UK Government energy efficiency scheme to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty. It means that energy companies are obliged to fund energy efficiency measures for those who can least afford the upfront costs. Which is great news for householders who fit the grant criteria!
We provide energy efficiency measures under two grant schemes – ECO3, and ECO Flex. These grants can pay for both central heating and insulation.
ECO3 may be available to anyone at a particular level of income in receipt of certain benefits, or who is eligible for the Warm Home Discount.
If you live in social housing with an EPC of E or below, you could also be eligible for ECO funding.
If you aren't eligible for ECO3 Funding, you may still have access to a grant through ECO Flex Funding. Criteria for ECO Flex Funding is set by local councils, but as a general rule the Government threshold is having less than £26,000 in savings.
We work with the following Local Authorities. Click on the link below to view the relevant criteria.
